HON AJALA JOINS CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL ON ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CAROL AND THANKSGIVING SERVICE

The third edition of Christmas Carol and Thanksgiving Service was held yesterday at Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA.
The annual event which was organized by the Council in conjunction with the Like minds Leadership Forum and Christian Association of Nigeria witnessed a huge volume of attendance from all walks of life. In his short speech, Hon Ajala, glorified God for another event. He said he was delighted to be among the people.
He noted that the event was a significant one because it was another way of showing gratitude to God. He said despite various challenges and shortcomings we still needed to celebrate ourselves. He emphasized that the day needed no long speech but a day to reaffirm God's immeasurable blessings and love.
He stated: "We should see the day as a day to correct our wrongs, improve ourselves and career and make amends where necessary."
He thanked the religious and charitable organizations who have shown love to others throughout the year. The guest speaker at the event, Prophet Babatunde Kumoluyi, of the World Bible Church enjoined Christians to see the birth of Jesus Christ which is being celebrated as a period of reflection and a period to come closer to God.
The highlight of the event was the Musical concert from the gospel singers, Lanre Teriba (Atorise) and Nike Elegbede bands.
At the event were the member of House of Representatives, representing Mushin constituency 1, Hon Muhammed Taofeek Adeyemi Alli, Wife of the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat Quadri, former Chairmen, Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon Hakeem Bamgbala, Abiodun Mafe, Mosan Okunola, Kamal Bayewu, Ajeromi Ifelodun.
Vice Chairman, Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Seyi Jakande, leader of the legislative arm Hon Rilwan Ola Ajenifuja and the Councillors, Secretary to the local council development area, Hon Mujeeb Ayinde Daramola and the Supervisors for Agriculture, Education, WAPA, environment, Health, Youths and Sports.
Also at the event were Mrs Modupe Awodogan, former woman leader in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA and the All Progressive Congress Chieftain, Mrs Funmilayo Bakare (Elepo).
Others were Head of Admins, Alhaji Shakirudeen Omotayo, Council Treasurer, Mr Shuaib Babalola Badmus, HODs from different departments in the local council development area.
Representative of the All Progressive Congress Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Adebisi ably represented by his Secretary, Alhaji Olaniyan, Chairmen from different wards in the local government, party faithful and members of the public.
