The celebrant, in company of his wife, Mrs Muhibat Omokehide Ajala, the legislators, family members, political figures and some of his aides later proceeded to the home for the blind at Moshalashi where he was received by the management and physically challenged people.
At the place, the musical band mainly comprised of a group of blind and deaf performers treated him and his wife to sonorous songs and everyone danced joyfully to the melodious sounds. Hon Ajala cut his birthday cake and presented some gift items to them. The hosts were full of praise for his kind gesture to them.
Soon, the convoy left the place for Regina Mundi at Oloosa, where home for the elderly people is located. At the place, Mrs Tola Adebowale, who supervises activities at the home welcomed Hon Ajala, his wife, the Vice Chairman, Hon Seyi Jakande, and the entourage to the place.
Addressing the elderly people, Mrs Kehinde Ajala said the reason they were there was to seek their blessing and prayers of the elders on the occasion. She prayed for them for good health and long life. She equally asked them to pray for her husband as well.
Addressing the gathering, Hon Ajala thanked the management of the place for deeming it to host him. He said he decided to change the usual funfair that his birthdays in the past were known for because he realised that everyone, including himself would eventually grow old and one would be remembered for one's legacies.
After receiving blessings and prayers from some of elders, they all joined him in cutting his cake. He presented some food items, beverages, toiletries and some other items to them.
At the general hospital at Oliyide in Mushin, Hon Ajala and his entourage went round the wards to interact with the patients. He presented some food items, toiletries and some items to them.
