This initiative aims to enhance community health and well-being by capturing 1,000 beneficiaries from the Mushin area.
Prominent officials in attendance included Governing Advisory Council (GAC) member and party apex leader in Mushin, Sen. This initiative has been brought to your community to encourage everyone to participate and reap its benefits."
She urged residents to prioritize their health by seeking regular checks, emphasizing that "regular medical screening offers a remedy through early detection for any sickness you may have, as the saying goes, 'Prevention is better than cure.'"
Dr. Sanwo-Olu also expressed concern about the rampant drug abuse among teenagers, stating that "the objective of this initiative is to empower our youth to become responsible individuals, particularly in the ongoing battle against drug abuse."
Hon. Seyi Jakande expressed profound gratitude to Sen. Ganiyu Solomon and other executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their continued support, noting, “Mushin has been selected for this medical attention because it is the first local government in Lagos State.” He further emphasized the need for collective commitment to fostering a safe and healthy environment for all citizens across Lagos State.
The event attracted a substantial turnout from the residents of Mushin, with various medical professionals attending to their health needs. The health screening will run from August 5 to 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day at Solomon Hall ground, Vono bus stop, Olateju, Mushin, providing an invaluable opportunity for residents to access essential healthcare services.
